Doris Larson, 96, of Wolf Point, died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012, in Scobey.
She was born April 1, 1916, in Fingal, N.D., to Edward and Emma Mahlum. She attended and graduated from Wolf Point High School.
She was a lifelong member of the First Lutheran Church of Wolf Point.  
On Jan. 19, 1937, she married James H. Larson in Wolf Point. Together, they owned and operated Larson’s Jewelry.
In their spare time, they enjoyed taking fishing and hunting trips. They were married for 68 years until his death in 2005.
She was very active throughout her life. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile and the Peace Circle.
She had a great love for children and her garden.
She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Evelyn Holum, Francis Harrington and Christel Marsh; brothers, Rodell Mahlum, Willard Mahlum and Douglas Mahlum.
She is survived by her children, Robert Larson of Fort Collins, Colo., Mary  Green of Cape Coral, Fla., and Mark Larson of Havre; brother, Dennis Mahlum of Richland, Wash.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service was held Thursday, Aug. 23, at the First Lutheran Church in Wolf Point. Interment was at the Greenwood Cemetery in Wolf Point. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
