The fund raiser currently being held to  save the movie theatre in Scobey has hit its first mark of just over $100,000 due to the generosity of this community and its alumni. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced the opening Tuesday, June 5th, of the new land border port of entry at Scobey. The port of Scobey, on Daniels County Hwy 13 North, adjoins the Canadian port of Coronach, on Hwy 36, in Saskatchewan.

The high tech upgrade project, estimated to cost over $8 million dollars, began construction in May of 2010.

Operational hours are from 8 am to 6 pm (Mountain Time), daily. Summer operational hours (June 1-Sept. 15) are from 8 am to 9 pm daily.
